Max Weiss is a graduate of the Philly public school system and is committed to working toward providing quality educational opportunities for all students in the city. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with an Urban Studies degree, Max taught secondary mathematics in the School District of Philadelphia through Teach for America. Previously, he was involved in local public policy by serving as Chairman of the Philadelphia Youth Commission, a Committee Person in the 2nd Ward, and interning across City Government. Currently, he attends Penn Law, where he volunteers for the Employment Advocacy Project. He loves watching and playing sports, eating at local restaurants, and exploring Philly.
