Mentor for Philly
Oscar Wang serves as the executive director of Mentor for Philly, an effort to connect Philadelphia-area college students with local high school juniors and seniors to prepare them for the post-secondary application process. Through a personalized, team-based mentoring model, they are committed to ensuring that the students of our great city not only matriculate into college, but also have the preparation and motivation to succeed once they get there. We are housed in and grateful for our partnership with the Philadelphia Education Fund. He also founded and taught the "Civics and Rhetoric" enrichment program to some of the greatest 5th to 8th graders in the entire world at E.M. Stanton Elementary and is a recent (and very proud!) graduate of Haverford College in political science and education.
