Affinity Group Meeting

Race in Schools Affinity Group
The Race in Schools affinity group held a conversation around implicit bias in schools. The conversation was incredibly rich and unfortunately cut short by time, but below is a set of resources to pull from on implicit bias. Additionally, the affinity group will be meeting sometime before the next scheduled meeting in March to dig more into implicit bias; please stay tuned and join us!
The Using Data/Research affinity group discussed how data are used in both research and practice to evaluate impact, as well as best practices and challenges associated with how information is used at the school and system level to make decisions. At the next meeting, the group plans to take a particular policy topic (most likely community schools) and discuss ways in which data and research is (and could/should be) used to inform decisions. See below for several resources that were shared on data use!
