Race and Public Policy: Advancing Equitable Policy Agendas
Led by Reagan Price
This CORE session focused on race and public policy. Race is often the elephant in the room when discussing disparities in policy outcomes. Educators and ed reform advocates value equality but oftentimes overlook the race-based root cause in persistent structural inequity. Check out the Racial Equity Impact Assessment tool for the Promise Zone initiative. This tool as well a guide to the assessment can be found on Applied Research Center's website (www.arc.org).

Led by Jenn Walters-Michalec
