Philadelphia Education Fund
Daniel is a native of Atlanta and now a proud Philadelphia resident who believes that education is the key to opportunity, personal and societal growth, and social justice. Currently, Daniel oversees Research, Evaluation, and Planning at the Philadelphia Education Fund, a non-profit dedicated to supporting great teachers and building college & career pathways for students. In this role, he helps steer the Ed Fund’s programmatic and policy approaches to teaching & learning, postsecondary opportunity, dropout prevention, and STEM education. Prior to his work at the Ed Fund, Daniel worked as a researcher and consultant for Operation Public Education at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on large-scale urban education reform. Daniel studied Philosophy and Artificial Intelligence at Princeton University before obtaining his MS in Social Policy from the University of Pennsylvania.
