Vice President, Marketing and Business Development, PIDC President, Friends of Chester Arthur
After falling in love with Philadelphia when she attended Penn, Ivy Olesh decided to stay, start her professional, family and civic life here. She's called Philly home for almost 14 years now. She spends her days working on economic development initiatives for PIDC and her evenings and weekends enjoying city life with her husband, Matt, and son, Brody. Five years ago, she helped to start a volunteer-run 501c3 group called Friends of Chester Arthur to help support her neighborhood, public school, as she believes that access to great educational opportunities is a right for every child. She hopes that their model inspires other neighborhoods and civic leaders to get involved in their neighborhood, public school.
