Mayor's Commission on Literacy
As Associate Director at the Mayor's Commission on Literacy, Jennifer works on two main projects. The first is myPLACE, which is a new system that helps adults get tested, gain digital and workforce skills, build an education and career plan, and then get enrolled in an appropriate class at an agency in Philadelphia. The second is KEYSPOT, a network of 51 computing centers and a city-wide effort to close the digital divide. Prior to joining The Commission, Jennifer was Senior Director at Foundations, Inc., where she led the Center for Afterschool and Expanded Learning and traveled everywhere from Jacksonville to Anchorage. She has a rescue dog named Wilbur and her hobbies include running and cooking.
