Dan currently works in the Leadership Department at Wharton, where he is responsible for student programming related to nonprofit leadership in the Philadelphia community. He also manages partnerships with more than 70 nonprofit organizations in the Delaware Valley. / / He previously worked at Congreso de Latinos Unidos, managing the growth and development of the agency’s higher education access program, which created a satellite junior college campus in partnership with Harcum College. During that time he also served on the board of directors of MIMIC, a West Kensington nonprofit focused on engaging and mentoring high-risk youth. Before Congreso, he taught high school English in Camden through Teach For America. / / Dan graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in English, and earned a Master’s in Nonprofit/NGO Leadership at Penn’s School of Social Policy and Practice. He lives in Roxborough with his wife the radiologist and their daughter the high school junior.
