Troy Julian Holiday attended and studied at Germantown Academy, Loyola [College] University of MD (B.S.), University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, Drexel University, University of Pennsylvania, and Yale University. Currently, she is a teacher and coach in the Philadelphia School District at South Philadelphia High School. His educational affiliations are wide and varied, including being the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) Elective teacher, participating as a fellow with the Teachers Institute of Philadelphia at University of Pennsylvania and The Yale National Teaching Initiative, and robotics and chess club coordinator. He is the son of Ernest and Kim Holiday, whom have been Philadelphia School District educators for 20+ years. His soon to be wife, Christina Graciano, and his two brothers work in the District as well. He enjoys many facets of life including, family, music, and traveling. However, one of his truest passions in life is sports.
